We open our studio space to the public on Thursdays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. all year round. We are also open by chance or by appointment. Check out VISIT US page for information.
4. Do you have a catalogue?
Due to the nature of how quickly our inventory changes, we do not print a catalogue. All in stock items are on our website with multiple photographs, a detailed description and price.
5. Do you offer fabric swatches?
Yes, we provide swatches. Swatches are 1" wide by WOF, or 44/45 in. Between 1 and 3 swatches are $3. and then $1 a piece after that. You can order and find out more details HERE.
6. How wide is the fabric?
Most of the fabric is 44"/45" wide (112 cm/115 cm) wide unless otherwise noted. We also carry "widebacks" perfect for backing your quilts; these are 106"/108" (270 cm/274 cm) wide.
7. How is fabric priced?
To give our customers the best possible price, our fabric is priced by the yard.
8. What is your minimum fabric cut?
The minimum quantity for a cut of fabric is 0.25 yards of regularly priced fabric, which we will send as a fat quarter, unless you let us know otherwise. We sell in increments of 0.25 yards. Simply pick the amount from the Drop Down list in the 'Quantity' field. We also sell fat quarters by the bundle.
Minimum cut for fabric on sale is one yard.
9. What is a fat quarter?
An imperial fat quarter is produced by cutting a half yard from a bolt of fabric 44/45 in. wide and then cutting that fabric in half width-wise. It measures 18" by 21/22". A traditional 1/4 yard cut would be 9" x 44"). A fat quarter offers more versatility as it allows the designer to cut larger pieces of fabric than would be possible from a regular quarter yard.
10. What if a fabric is out of stock?
It is unlikely we can reorder fabric as most often, when we are out of stock the manufacturer is also. However patterns, notions and other items can sometimes be reordered, so please contact us and we will do our best!

15. Are the colours on the website really the right colours? We do our absolute best to achieve the highest level of colour accuracy and image sharpness of each photograph that appears on our website. There is not one photograph that is posted without verifying the image against the actual fabric swatches. We test the image in a variety of different browsers and monitors, as well as on a PC and MAC. But the reality is that we can't guarantee that the photograph you see on your screen is the same as what appears here. Every computer system and monitor displays colour differently.
But that is one reason why we catalogue our fabrics by colour, as well as value. We stand behind the quality of our images, but if you find that the fabric you receive is not what you wished for, please contact us and we will happily provide you with a refund. That is our unconditional guarantee to you!
