With the holidays coming up, I’m starting to think about all the gifts I want to make for my friends and family. Here are a few featured patterns to get you prepared in a variety of difficulty levels and scale of project!
This quilt is a quick and easy one. It’s a great beginner quilting project, or if you have a strict time limit to complete a project.
This quilt uses pre-cut 2.5″ strips to create this cool effect. Pattern includes instructions for 4 sizes, from baby to queen/king.
A modern, fun quilt pattern that uses 6 in. by 8 in. rectangles – you could whip this up in a weekend!
Then there’s the Willow Bedrunner by Judy Niemeyer. This one is one of my favourite – looks great and at 35″ x 100″ seems like something I could tackle.
The skill level is definitely more advanced, but it’s paper piecing – so actually not that difficult. However this does take time!
Shorter time limit? Try these 6-pack bag collections, available as kits or you can just buy the pattern separately. These are great afternoon projects.
